Workers are setting up the stage of the concert. the stage of is in the shape of the triangle. the side of the triangle are consecutive even numbers. If the perimeter of the stage i 168, what is the length of each side

    You find perimeter by adding all of the sides, which in this case is only 3 because it is a triangle. You also have to find consecutive even numbers. I don't know exactly how to tell you to find the answer, but what I did was divide 168 by 3, which gave me the number 56. By adding the even numbers on both sides of 56, I found the answer. The answer is 54, 56 and 58, when added equal to 168.

    Lets divide 168/3 = 56. Subtract 2 to get the shortest side and add two to get the longest side.

    54+56+58 = 168
