    The perimeter of the front face of the prism = 88 feet.

    The front face of a prism is a two-dimensional figure.

    The side lengths are 2x feet, 4x+8, 2x feet, and 4x+8 feet.

    Since both the opposite sides of the face are equal, it is a rectangle.

    The perimeter is the sum of all the sides of the rectangle.

    2x + (4x+8) + 2x + (4x+8) = 88 feet

    12x + 16 = 88

    12x = 88-16

    12x = 72

    x = 72/12

    x=6 feet
