The cost of a hamburger is $4.50. Each additional hamburger costs $2.00. Sully wrote this explicit rule to explain the sequence of costs: f (n) = 2 + 4.5 (n - 1). Using this rule, he found the cost of 14 hamburgers to be $60.50. is this the correct answer

    60.50 is not the correct answer. The correct answer is $30.50. To get the correct answer multiply 2X13, which is 26. Then add 4.50 cents to the 26, which gets you 30.50.
