If 100 customers tried free samples:

    (.55) (100) = 55 customers preferred mango

    (.20) (100) = 20 customers preferred papaya

    (.25) (100) = 25 customers preferred coconut

B is not correct because we do not know that all of the customers prefer mango, since we only have a sample of 100 people, not the whole population.

C is not correct because it does not specify that the customers are only adults.

Therefore, A is the correct answer because 55 people in this sample preferred mango, but we don't know about the rest of the population who was not tested.
