During a promotional weekend, a state fair gives a free admission to every 175th person who enters the fair. On Saturday, there were 6,742 people attending the fair. On Sunday, there were 5,487 people attending the fair. How many people received a free admission over the two days?

    If you take 6,742 add it to 5,487 you get 12,229 you need to divide by 175 to get 69.88 to check which is right multiply 175 by 69 and get 12,075 multiply 175 by 70 and get 12,250 which is to many people so your answer is 69.
