How do i do this problem
x = 16 - 4y
3x + 4y = 8

Because you know the equation for what x equals, you can plug that equation into the x of the second equation.
For example: 3 (16-4y) + 4y=8.
Then you can solve for y. After you find y, you will plug that number into the original equation (x=26-4y) and solve for x.
