    1 cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

Jazmin has two pieces of construction paper. The first piece is 4 cm wide and the second piece is 3 cm wide.

As Jazmin wants to cut the paper into strips that are equal in width and are as wide as possible, so we need to find greatest common factor of 4 and 3.

    Factors of 4 are: 1, 2, 4.

    Factors of 33 are: 1, 3.

We can see that 1 is the greatest common factor of 4 and 3,

therefore, Jazmin should cut each strip 1cm wide.
