If the sides of a quadrilateral are in the ratio of 3:5:7:9 and the perimeter is 240 inches, find the length of each side

    Your equation would be 3x + 5x + 7x + 9x = 240

    Combine like terms and that would lead you to 24x = 240

    Then divide by 24 on both side leaving you with x = 10

    Plug in x and your answer would be 30:50:70:90
