How many boards, each 3/4 yd long, can be cut from a piece of wood that is 6 yards long? Will there be any wood left over?

    Since 3/4 is 0.75, let's use it like that.

    6/0.75=8

    Since the answer does not have any decimals, no wood will be left over.
