Ashley grew 2 watermelons, watermelon A weighs 14 1/2 pounds. Watermelon B weighs 248 ounces. Which is larger

1 pound=16 ounces

    The answer is Watermelon B.

    Because If you divide 16 into 248 you will get 15.5555 ... And round it, it will be 15.6 and that's greater than 14.5 or 14 1/2.

    Correct me if I am wrong.
