What value of b makes the trinomial below a perfect square x2 - bx + 16

    A perfect square is when a trinomial can be factored into a binomial multiplied by itself right? If that's the case then I think b=8

    x^2-8x+16

    x^2-2*x*4+4^2

    (x-4) ^2
