You have $20. You want to spend it all to get home. The taxi driver charges $2 for entry. The driver also charges $5 for each mile. You also leave a $3 tip. How many miles can you go in the taxi?

    You start off with 20$, minus the 2 for the entry that gives you 18$. then if you leave a $3 tip that would leave you with 15$. each mile is $5, 5 goes into 15, 3 times, therefore you would be able to go 3 miles for $15.
