    8 gallons/340 miles vs. 7 gallons/350 miles

    $32/340 miles vs. $28/350 miles

    $1.133/1 miles vs. $0.08/1 mile

    113 cents/mile vs. 8 cents per mile

    113 cents - 8 cents = 105 cents

    The answer is 105 cents/mile.
