So the end zones are 10

    there are 2 end zones so 2 times 10 = 20

20 yards are taken up by endzones

    20/120 yards is endzone

    solve/simplify

find the ones EXG. so 4/8 can be simplified to 1/2 because 1/2 times 4/4=4/8

    so 20/120=2/12 times 10/10

    2/12=1/6 times 2/2

the end zones take up 1/6 of the filed

If the total length is 120 yards, and there are two end-zones of 10 yards each, the expression 10 (2) / 120 or, 20 out of 120 yards, can give the fraction 1/6. This is your answer.
