    a) for class 9 : 13 for class 10 : 12b) the number of students in a row : 8

    Step-by-step explanation:

    First let's calculate the greatest common factor GCF of 104 and 96

    104:2=52

    52:2=26

    26:2=13

    13:13=1

    then 104 = 2³*13

    96:2=48

    48:2=24

    24:2=12

    12:2=6

    6:2=3

    3:3=1

    then 96 = 2⁵*3

    104 = 2³*13

    96 = 2⁵*3

    then GCF (104, 96) = 2³ = 8

    a) the maximum number of parallel rows for class 9 is 104/8 = 13

    the maximum number of parallel rows for class 10 is 96/8 = 12

    b) the number of students of class 9th and class 10th in a row is 8
