Answer: The required function formula is,

    S (R) = 85 + 5 R

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given,

The price of each raffle = $ 5,

    ⇒ The price of 10 raffle = 10 * 5 = $ 50

Since, her total spending at the fundraiser = Her admission fee + price of raffle she buys,

⇒ Her total spending when she buy 10 raffle = Her admission fee + $ 50

    According to the question,

    Her admission fee + $ 50 = $ 135

    ⇒ Her admission fee = 135 - 50 = $ 85

    Hence, if she buys R raffle then her spending = 85 + 5 R

Here, S represents her total spending,

    ⇒ S = 85 + 5 R

    Or S (R) = 85 + 5 R

Which is the required function formula.
