To convert a fraction to a percentage first we have to turn the fraction to a decimal. To do this we have to divide the numerator by the denominator.

79 : 100 = 0.79
To turn a decimal to a percentage we have to multiply the decimal by 100 and then add a percentage sign.
0.79 * 100 = 79
79%
79/100 = 0.79 = 79%
