What is the answer to 5 - 2x < 7=?

    5 - 2x < 7=

    Simplify both sides of the inequality:-

    - 2x + 5 <7

    Subtract 5 from both sides.

    - 2x + 5 - 5 < 7-5 - 2x <2

    Divide both sides by - 2

    -2x/-2 < 2/-2

    x > - 1
