    2y + 2 (y-2) = 5y - 3 (y-10)

    2y + 2y - 4 = 5y - 3y + 30

    4y - 4 = 2y + 30

    4y - 2y = 30 + 4

    2y = 34

    y = 34/2

    y = 17
