Which one or ones of the following statements is/are true? If the line y = 2 is a horizontal asymptote of y = f (x), then f is not defined at y = 2. If f (1) > 0 and f (3) < 0, then there exists a number c between 1 and 3 such that f (c) = 0. If f is continuous at x = 6 and f (6) = 8 and f (4) = 2, then the limit as x approaches 2 of f of the quantity 4 times x squared minus 10 equals 8.

    If the line y = 2 is a horizontal asymptote of y = f (x), then f is not defined at y = 2. True by def'n of asymptote

    If f is continuous at x = 6 and f (6) = 8 and f (4) = 2, then the limit as x approaches 2 of f of the quantity 4 times x squared minus 10 equals 8. True as 4 times x squared minus 10 as x approaches 2 is 4 (2) ^2-10=6 and f (6) = 8.
