What is the general form of the equation of the given circle with center A (-3,12) and the radius is 5?

    (x - a) ² + (y - b) ² = r² centre (a, b)

    r = 5, centre (-3, 12)

    (x - a) ² + (y - b) ² = r²

    (x - - 3) ² + (y - 12) ² = 5²

    (x + 3) ² + (y - 12) ² = 25

    x ² + 6x + 9 + y² - 24y + 144 = 25

    x ² + y² + 6x - 24y + 9 + 144 - 25 = 0

    x² + y² + 6x - 24y + 128 = 0 Is the equation of circle.
