    There is no solution, therefore the pep club should go with Logos, as the price is $10 lower than Buttons, Etc.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The equation for Buttons, Etc becomes

    y = 50 + 1.1x Where x denotes the number of buttons

    The equation for Logos becomes

    y = 40 + 1.1x Where x denotes the number of buttons

    To find where the pricing is the same, let's set our equations equal to each other.

    50 + 1.1x = 40 + 1.1x Combine like terms

    50 - 40 = 1.1x - 1.1x

    10 = 0

    This yields a false response, meaning they will never have the same pricing.
