    It is y = (5/3) x+3.

    Set up the equation.

    5x - 3y = 9

    Subtract 5x from both sides.

    -3y = 9 - 5x

    Divide both sides by - 3 to get y by itself.

    y = 3 + (5/3) x

    Rearrange the equation.

    y = (5/3) x + 3
