    x = 2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    10x + 1 = 2 (3x + 5) - 1

    mutlipy the 2 to the 3x and the 5 you should get 10x + 1 = 6x + 10 - 1 now you have to add the combine terms so it will now be 10x + 1 = 6x + 9 now you. have to get the x's on one side and the constants (numbers alone) on the other side so you can subtract the 6x on both sides once you do that you wil get 4x + 1 = 9 After you get this equation you will have to subtract the one from both sides. you will get 4x = 8 All you have to do it divide 4 on both sides. Your final answer is x = 2.

    x=2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    First expand 2 (3x+5)

    6x+10

    Which will give you,

    10x+1=6x+10-1

    then subtract 6x to both sides

    4x+1=10-1

    then subtract 1 to both sides

    4x+2=10

    then subtract 2 to both sides

    4x=8

    then divide them both by 4

    x=2
