What two numbers give a sum of 7 and a product of - 8

8 and - 1!

8*-1=-8

8-1=7

i wish i could do a drawing it would be much easier = /

so if it gives a sum of 7 and product of - 8

then for the sum i would put 8 - 1

then it would also fit the product because 8 x - 1 is - 8 since a negative times a positive is a negative
