The monthly revenue of a digital magazine from each user is represented by f (x) = 5x + 1.

The monthly cost to provide the digital magazine to each user per month is represented by g (x) = x + 2.

Which of the following functions can be used to evaluate the profit for each user?

(f - g) (x) = (5x + 1) - (x + 2) = 4x - 1

(g - f) (x) = (x + 2) - (5x + 1) = - 4x + 1

(f + g) (x) = (5x + 1) + (x + 2) = 6x + 3

(g - f) (x) = (x + 2) - 5x + 1 = - 4x + 3
