A recipe calls for 3/4 cup of flour, but Kelli has only 1/3 cup of flour. How much more flour does she need?

    She needs 3/4 - 1/3 cups

    LCD of 3 and 4 is 12 so convert the fractions to 12th's:-

    3/4 - 1/3 = 9/12 - 4/12 = 5/12

    She needs another 5/12 of a cup of flour, Answer.
