A party was organised for thirty people at which they could have either a hamburger or a pizza. If there were five times as many hamburgers as pizzas, calculate the number of each.

    Pizza = 5

    Hamburgers = 25

    Let pizza = x

    hamburgers is 5 times pizza therefore is 5x

    5x + x = 30

    6x=30

    x=5

    Pizza = 5

    Hamburgers = 25
