Remember you can do anything to an equationas long as you do it to both sides
for inequalities, rember to flip sign when multiply or divide by negatie
x+8<10
add - 8 to both sides (or minus 8 both sides)
x+8-8<10-8
x+0<2
x<2

So 8 <10 on each side do - 8 then it will be X=2
