Dimitri is solving the equation x2 - 10x = 21. Which value must be added to both sides of the equation to make the left side a perfect-square trinomial?

    None of them. Adding the number to both sides would cancel them out, which ineffective keeps the equation as a non-perfect squar trinomial. Now adding 4 to the right side and subtracting the 25 would make it a perfect square trinomial.
