A pitcher of water contains 8 ice cubes. Each ice cube lowers the water's temperature by 2 degrees, which can be expressed as (-2). If an ice cube is removed, the temperature is raised by - (-2). Consider 3 ice cubes being removed from the pitcher. The total rise in temperature is

A) - (-4) °, which is the same as 4°.

    If removing 1 ice cube raises the temperature by - (-2), then removing 3 ice cubes would raise the temp

    -3 (-2) = 6 degrees

    At first I thought I had to make a graph but yeah it's D since there are 3 and they are negative degrees
