Lisa has $150 at most to spend on clothes. She wants to buy a pair of jeans for $58 and will spend the rest on t-shirts that cost $14 each. Create an inequality to represent the number of t-shirts that Lisa can purchase?

    Let's number of t-shirt she can purchase be represented by variable t.

    So price of "t" t-shirts = $14 x t = 14t

    So total expense will be represented by price of "t" t-shirts + price of pair of jeans

    => Total expense = 14t + 58

    The above amount must always be less than 150.

    => 14t + 58 < 150
