Since the rational number is not given, then I would just do the reverse solution and convert the decimal form into the rational form. To do this, divide the numbers in the decimal side with the corresponding largest place value.

    A. 0.25 = 25/100 = 1/4

    B. 0.125 = 125/1000 = 1/8

    C. 1.25 = 1 + 25/100 = 1 1/4 or 5/4

    D. 2.5 = 2 + 5/10 = 2 1/2 or 5/2
