The zeroes of the function are.

On a coordinate plane, a cubic function increases into quadrant 3 and 2 and then curves down into quadrant 4 before increasing into quadrant 1. It crosses the x-axis at (negative 2, 0), (0, 0), and (4, 0).

    y = x (x+2) (x-4), so the zeroes are - 2, 0 and 4.

    y = x (x+2) (x-4)

    The factors of a cubic function are (x-a), (x-b), and (x-c), where a, b, and, c are the x-intercepts. Because there are 3 intercepts, all of the "x-n"s are to the power of 1. You gave the intercepts as (-2,0), (0,0), and (4,0). From there I wrote the equation. The function I wrote increases from Q3 to Q2, then goes to Q4 to Q1. If it didn't, then I would have made the equation negative.
