The product of two numbers is 40. if one of the numbers is 5/11, what is the other number?

    Product means times so,

    first number * second number = 40

    first number * 5/11=40

    first number = 40 / (5/11)

    first number = 40 * (11/5)

    first number = 440/5

    first number = 88
