    by multiplying each factor ...

    x^4 - 2x^3 - 2x^2 + 2x^3 - 4x^2 - 4x + 3x^3 - 6x - 6

    then combining like terms ...

    answer is:

    x^6 - 3x^2 - 10x - 6
