    1.

    X - base price

    Y - one topping price

    You have to create 2 equations:

    x + 5y = 14.75 - base amount + 2 toppings give 14.75

    X + 2y = 11 - base amount + 2 toppings give $11

    You have deduct both equations

    X - x = 0

    5y - 2y = 3y

    14.75 - 11 = 3.75

    That means:

    3y = 3.75 divide by 3

    Y = 1.25

    So the price of the topping is $1.25

    2.

    You have to calculate the base price first:

    X + 2*1.25 = 11

    X + 2.5 = 11

    X = 8.5

    Then it is simple:

    Price of the pizza = base price + number of toppings multiplied by price of the topping

    That means:

    Price of the pizza = 8.5 + n * 1.25
