Bill has a bike that weighs 56 pounds. Magda has a bike that weighs 52 pounds. She adds a bell and basket to her bike. The bell weighs 12 ounces and the basket weighs 2 pounds and 8 ounces. Does madga's bike with its new bell and basket weigh more than bill's bike? Explain your reasoning.

    No, her bike does not way more than Bill's. The total weight of the things she put on her bike is 3.25 pounds. 3.25 + 52 = 55.25 which is not more than Bill's bike.
