    at 6.00 p. m. it will overtake and distance will be 6 X40 = 240km/h from the depot

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Earlier truck is 2 X 30 = 60km/h away from the depot by the time the second truck starts 40km / h

    Net speed of second truck = 40-30 = 10km / hour

    Distance = 60km

    Time = Distance / speed = 60/10 = 6 hours
