There are 10 marbles in total.

The probability of selecting a blue marble is 5/10 or 50% and the chance of selecting an orange marble is 1/10 or 10%.

    1/20

    Step-by-step explanation:

5 blue marbles, 2 red marbles, 1 orange marble, and 2 green marbles = 10 marbles

P (blue) = blue marbles / total marbles

    =5/10 = 1/2

    We replace the marble

5 blue marbles, 2 red marbles, 1 orange marble, and 2 green marbles = 10 marbles

    P (orange) = orange marbles / total

    = 1/10

    P (blue, replace, orange) = 1/2 * 1/10

    = 1/20
