Teresa's restaurant bill comes to $29.99 before tax if the sales tax is 6.25 % and she takes the waiter 20% what's the total tax of her meal

    29.99 x 0.0625 = the sales tax

    29.99 x 0.20 = the waiter's tax

    $1.88 (the sales tax) + $6.00 (the waiter's tax) = $7.88 the total tax
