(2x/3) - (5/3) = (1/2)
Multiply everything by 3
2x - 5 = 3/2
Get the x term on it's own by adding 5 to both sides
2x = 3/2 + 5
2x = 3/2 + 10/2
2x = 13/2
Divide by 2 to get x on it's own
x = 13/2 : 2 = 13/2 * 1/2 = 13/4
