The top of a circular vanilla cake with a diameter of 10 inches was covered with frosting. The Martinez family ate half of the cake at the birthday party. What area of frosting was left?

    (22:7) * 5*5=initial area

    remaining area = 1/2 (initial area)

    = (11*25) : 7=39.28 square inches
