2/5k-3/5+1/10k simplify

    If I'm understanding this properly, you have (2/5) k - (3/5) + (1/10) k, yes? If this is so then you need to find a common denominator of 10 for those so you can combine the like ones. This looks like this: (4/10) k - (6/10) + (1/10) k simplifies to (5/10) k - (6/10). Or you could reduce to (1/2) k - (3/5)
