    Remember that by definition the volume of a cube is given by:

    V = L ^ 3

    Where,

    L = length.

    We have then:

    V = (4) ^ 3

    V = 64 in ^ 3

    answer:

    The volume of a cube with length 4 inches is:

    V = 64 in ^ 3

    The formula for a cube is l x w x h. But, these are all the same. So, you multiply 4 by 4 three times. The volume of the cube is 64^2 inches.
