While shopping, you purchase 4 pairs of jeans, 6 shirts, and 3 pairs of shoes. How many different outfits will you be able to make using one pair of jeans, one shirt, and one pair of shoes?

    One way is to multiply in which the answer is 72 but to make sure you should make a tree diagram.

    6 different outfits, you have 4 jeans thats 4 outfits and 6 shirts which you already have 4 outfits from the 6 shirts and the 2 shirts left make 2 different outfits.
