the measure of angle x is 55°. she drew another angle that was complementary to angle y. what is the measure of the new angle?

    Sum of complementary angle is always equal to 90°.

    Like if x and y are the two complementary angles then we can write:

    x+y=90°.

    55+y=90° Since x=55°

    y=90-55 Subtracting 55 from each sides.

    y=35.

    So, measure of new angle is 35°.
