    30,000 / 30 = 1000 gallons ... at $ 4 per gallon ... 1000 * 4 = $ 4000 per yr

    suv averaging 9 miles per gallon

    30,000 / 9 = 3333.33 gallons ... at $ 4 per gallon ... 3333.33 * 4 = 13333.32 per yr

    so u would save approx. : 13,333.32 - 4,000 = 9333.32 per yr <==
