A fleet of 5 fire engines carries a total of 20,000 litters of water. if each truck holds the same amount of water, how many litters of water does each truck carry?

    How you figure out this problem, is by doing 20,000*5 or add 20'000 five times. So take out all the zeros, and do five times 2 which is ten, the add the zeros And you get 100,000

    4,000 liters of water in each truck all you do is divide: 20,000 : 5
