    Okay. I think a good way to solve this problem is to write a proportion. 50/75 = x/120. Cross multiply to get 6,000/75x. Now, divide each side by 75 to isolate the "x". When you do that, you get x = 80. 80 pounds of fertilizer will cover 120 square feet of lawn.
